6 - 8 p.m.	Welcoming Reception Non-alcoholic beverages and light appetizers will be provided.	La Casa/Latino Cultural Center
6 - 8 p.m.	La Casa History Pop-up Exhibit from the IU Archives Documenting 50 years of history, this exhibit will feature materials which document the actions and individuals which led to the formation of the Latino Cultural Center/La Casa in 1973 as well as key moments from the decades following. The IU Archives also invites attendees to consider sharing their own memories about these formative years by completing this questionnaire and sending it to archives@iu.edu. Doors open at 9 p.m.	Salsa Night with Son del Caribe Orchestra Directed by Jaime Morales Matos Band back to Bloomington to celebrate the 50^th Anniversary of La Casa. 7:30am-9:30am	IU 2044: Championing Latine Student Success The purpose of the breakfast is to discuss accelerating Latine student success at IU. However, enrollment cannot be the only answer. By intentionally centering Latine students in our plans and practices, we will continue our work so that all IU Latine students may thrive. 10 - 11 a.m.	Latine College Experience: Building Their Success While greater numbers of Latine students are entering institutions of higher education, they still face many challenges. Faculty will share their research, insights and strategies to better support Latine students. Co-sponsored by Latino Faculty and Staff Council, Arthur R. Metz Grant (IU Student Foundation), La Casa, and Latinos Unidos (LUIU).	IMU / Solarium
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.	Proclaiming Our Stories: Creating a Community Digital Archive Digital storytelling is a powerful form of sharing personal experiences that enables individuals and communities to proclaim and reclaim their cultural identities and narratives through personal and meaningful items like photos or home movies. We are especially interested in archiving an object and story from your time at Indiana University that will form part of La Casa's Digital Community Archive. We welcome your stories, illustrated by an artifact, on what it means to be Latine or Latin-American during your time at Indiana University. Registration is required to participate. 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.	From One Generation to Another: Connecting the Dots This alumni and current Latine student panel will reflect on what has stayed the same and what has changed across the years in the Latine student experience at IU. Co-sponsored by Indiana University Latino Alumni Association, Arthur R. Metz Grant (IU Student Foundation), La Casa, and Latinos Unidos (LUIU).	IMU / Solarium
12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.	Building your Network of Support: Alumni and Student Meet and Greet One tool that students (and other recent alums) have to their advantage is our IU alumni. Alumni can help explore career prospects, professional opportunities, and transition from college to career. Come build those connections. 5 - 6 p.m.	Cocktail Hour Meet and greet other weekend participants. Enjoy appetizers and cocktails (cash bar). Parking is available at the IMU parking lot.	IMU Alumni Hall
6 - 9 p.m.	Banquet The event is open to the public. All friends, family, and guests are welcome to join the celebration. A dress code will not be enforced, but we do encourage you to dress to impress for this special occasion! Registration is required.	IMU Alumni Hall

10 -10:30 a.m.	La Casa Cookbook: Recipes from the Heart As part of La Casa’s 50th reunion, we are collecting favorite recipes from alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends to compile into a cookbook for later distribution. Join us to learn more about this wonderful project. Recipes are being collected until December 1, 2023.	La Casa / Latino Cultural Center
